hi all, i want to talk about the time in the site when is down in last time when it down most of players missed some of their turns and i suguste to stop the tim in the games when the site down in this case lost one hour less than or more and that is not fair case now dont take 24 hour like other player and lost ur turn for a reason is out of our hand.
i am not sure they can do anything about that, but this is the place to post it, perhaps in the future they will if enough players think it is good idea m8
i agree with him, i lost an important clan war game because cc was down, anything is possible on computer and innernets, it just takes the know how, so it is very possible, and i think it would be a worth while update to the site in the hopefully forseeable future
Although I understand there are times people miss turns for their own fault, there have been plenty of times that I have been like "well I have a few hours left...so I'll take it later". Luckily I have never lost a turn (to my knowledge) because the server was down, but it doesn't seem like it would be too hard to "freeze" the games in progress while the server is down because it causes so many one sided games after a missed turn.
If the server has to randomly go down, that's one thing....but when it's scheduled it's definatly a problem that could be stopped.

Lack can't STOP time? What's happening to the world?

Ok, would this work then ??? ..turn back the server clock when the server is rebooted after a site "meltdown" and make the neccesary adjustments. I realise this would mean that CC woud be down for another 5 mins or so and would create a little extra work for you, but in the long run I think it would create more harmony and less bitching all round
I think 3asefa's idea is great if we can find a way to make it work

me totally agrees ....and ok maybee its a lot ofwork butare we al not customers wo deserve some little more effort wenn such crap things happen ?
I have wondered this myself, as so have lots of other people it seems. I have no idea if it could be done but it would be a great add on to the site if it could. As with all the other upgrades Lack has added in the last year and half i been here i am sure he will as in the past work toward making the changes if possible. This for sure would be a welcome addation.

EXELLENT BIG YAMA and also i think that most of us on this site are well educated and if lack needs help with this issue he can just add a new post and we will all be more than happy to help him find answers and look it up for him and his crew.
lack said that he cant stop the time but i think they have in the site back up for the database and u can return back the database in the point before the site is down .
