Elite Doubles League

I've had several requests for a Doubles League. I'm looking for suggestions from those looking to enter.

Thinking English style football, with promotions and demotions.

16 Elite Teams: Division 1A & Division1B (8 teams each, 2 demoted each, 3 swap between)

16 Great Teams: Division 2A & Division2B (8 teams each, 2 promoted each, 2 demoted each, 2 swap between)

8 Solid Teams: Division 3A (8 teams, 2 promoted to 2A, 2 stay, 2 demoted to tournament)

Entry Tournament (2 from Div 3A, 6 signups, winner & runner-up enter league)

Swaps (1A ranks 2,4,6 swap with 1B 2,4,6) Ensures the sames teams don't keep playing over and over if multiples seasons occur. Same with Div2 except only 2 teams.

Might be too many teams for multi-season sustainability, could just create larger Div 2A and lose 2B and 3A. 2A would not be a full round-robin in this case and would create more variation in opponents.

as long as the maps are 'normal' and the settings are no fog and no flat rate.

Define "Normal". (No PH, or BOA etc.)

I'm looking for setup ideas not sign-ups just yet. I keep hearing "hey I'd like a league" but no real ideas are out there yet. I'm willing to run the league.
