Coldpay have done some truly balnd, horrific stuff. (most of their last album, the HORRENDOUS "Fix You" being the stand out vomit inducer).
But they've done some great tracks too. I loved Yellow, and The Scientist has to rank as one of the all time great sad tunes.
So nah.

And, surprisingly, they are FUCKING good live.

i've been there man. i know what it's like. the last major breakup i went through, i discovered Howlin' Wolf. I'm a huge Radiohead fan, but they seem to make the depression worse somehow, of break ups.

check out old school blues. especially Howlin' Wolf. i'll see if i can find some online, but if you're REALLY interested, PM me. we'll work something out.

the below link is to the wikipedia article about him, but i'm linking it right to the list of covers... you'll be surprised to see how influential this guy was on rock and roll.

Billy Corgan and Thom Yorke have both spoken, independently of each other, of their admiration of Wolf and his influence upon them.
