QUIT FCKING REQUIRING COLORS FOR VOTES. I'm in three games, all with different colors. Your laziness is making games impossible for anyone playing multiple games to keep up with it. Either require ONE STANDARD COLOR FOR ALL GAMES, or not color at all please! Come on guys, be reasonable. I for one refuse to vote in color anymore! If everyone does this, it should work.

Colors are used to make votes stand out more.... ie for the lazy mod who just wants to skim. But seeing how they pick up on votes that AREN'T in color anyway (how many times have you seen "so&so didn't vote in color, so it doesn't count"), and how some people post their entire posts in color, it's not really needed. BOLD IS ENOUGH. COLOR ISN'T NEEDED. STOP REQUIRING IT.

Most people don't seem to be bothered or have any issues with coloured votes. It also helps separate the games, especially with the two biggies at the moment. The different colours help avoid confusion between the games.

WRONG! Exactly the opposite! Quick poll.. how many in both games know the colors of each of those games? Not I. I'd have to go look at every first post to get the color, unless there was a bandwagon of votes in front of me on the game page. Color doesn't help distinguish the games, but the thread title does.. that's how I tell.. lol.

I agree with wicked, it isnt difficult to spot bolded text, i am modding a game now, and i manage.

Though I do not agree all parts of wicked's post (mods being lazy because we are also lazy

), but I do agree we need a standard colour for all games or no colour at all. I nominate Blue for this.

I agree, or at least find a 'common' color, say red so Skof will feel at home, that all mods will use. This having to use 3 or 4 different colors in as many games becomes a pain.

I can't really say anything either way. Really, if the mods are being sticklers for it, they aren't being lazy as they have to constantly remind people. I suppose it'll come down to who gets tired of it first, the players or the mods. I don't have a problem with doing, I just need to be reminded from time to time. I've taken to checking the votes above mine to make sure, but that doesn't always work...

I think we should standardize a color that ISN'T black for voting. But, I agree that all mods should use that color... Say, for instance, Green

I agree with Wicked, these color switches are annoying. I prefer black and bold. Also in my games I also elimated the useless unvote for when you're switching votes. It's not really needed.

The only time I used a color was yellow because it's Pikachu like and annoyed everyone.

well, it seems to me, that typing [ color="brown" ][ b ][ /b ][ /color ], instead of just [ b ][ /b ], is much more of a inconvenience for the players, than it is for the mods to find just bold words instead of colored ones.

Providing people don't use bold text unecesserely(sp?) then having bold is just fine.

Personally I don't think colours make that much of a difference(for the player) but asking people to do it in big text or substitute "vote" for "throw out" or "kill" is just plain stupid IMO.

Bold is fine.

There will always be color in my game for votes... if it is too big of an inconvenience, ill simply ask you to play one of the other fine games that are offered.

Mods use colour votes because it is easier to go through pages of spam and look for colour then it is to read the whole damn thing for vote counts. It's only adding a bit of text, you are the one being lazy Wicket. If you can't keep up with just colours in multiple games then maybe you shouldb't be playing multiple games in the first place.

Wicked, mafia mods don't bow down to you. They can make their games however they want. You can choose if you want to participate in them, but you can't ban color voting because it annoys you.
