Ok, I think we got all great ideas, however, a suggestion would be to list ALL ideas for maps on one page and have the people vote on all, take the top 5 to 7 and narrow it down to those and post the 5 to 7 with most votes and have the creative visionaries work their magic to create and develop these maps if they choose too, sound good all? :D

yeah vegas soudns cool, or it maybe just some random city, like a basic city, with a bank, shops, fire/police/hospital, houses, mall, etc, and like each like section [ex. residental, downtown, countryside] could be a "continent" for bonuses

I don't really have time to do this myself, But I think a 60 territory map might make the game a little more challenging, and then no matter what 3,4,5, or 6 players the map can have all of them without nuetral territories. Please see original thread to vote.

Just copying it to make Andy happy.

Gangs of New York!

New York City would be great.

Groupings would be The Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Harlem, Staten Island, New Jersey, ...

Disneyland

Postby FireEagle on Sat Oct 21, 2006 9:17 pm

I wanted to do a Disneyland map, making each land--Main Street USA, Tomorrowland, Frontierland, Fantasyland, Toon Town, New Orleans Square, Critter Country, and Adventureland--a continent...minus maybe Main Street. New Orleans Square and Critter Country would be small, with Fantasyland being the largest. The rides, or in the case of New Orleans Square, the Blue Bayou could be added, would be the countries. Also, the Disneyland Limited Railroad could be another continent bonus as well as a connecting point. I've tried running Jota's map making assistant, but the XML script is illegible and I don't know how to fix it. I really want to see this map made, so if anyone wants to make it...or teach me how to make it (warning, I'm no good with comps), it would be much appreciated. This map would be really fun! :D

Has it ever been suggested to duplicate the original 1959 Risk map. "Risk: the Continental Game"
Made with same colors, details, etc.

Or, if someone can find it...
the original 1957 French version "La Conqueste du Monde"; English Translation = "Conquest of the World"
