in a very informal check, lack says about 1 in 5 on here are female (or have female-sounding names).

i think we should delegate the task of PMing EVERY SINGLE member and doing a gender survey and recording the results (and of course updating with new members) to the creator of this thread.

Probably the same ratio for age.

1 in 5 members is over the age of 20.
