I think the new album is not QUITE as good as the last one, but it is certainly excellent. The duet song with Laura Marl--sumfin is the single.. it's pretty good.
a friend of mine is really into them, she's always been into the goth/industrial scene... or darkwave... whatever it is they're calling it these days.
the last time i let her convince me to go to the goth themed night at one of the clubs here in Philly, i heard MESH played at least twice. but that was at least 4 years ago.
have you ever seen an idealist with grey hairs on his head? or successful men who keep in touch with unsuccessful friends? you only think you did i could have sworn i saw it too but as it turns out it was just a clever ad for cigarettes.

Word. Though I haven't really listened to the cure and never heard of Babyshambles. (I think.)
Babyshambles are Pete Doherty (from the libertines)'s band. If you've never heard of the libertines download one of their albums asap! If you liked the Libertines, Babyshambles new album's Shotter's Nations well worth listening to.. (don't bother with Babyshambles's first album though its not very good to put it lightly)
In other Doherty-related news looks like hes going back to jail for a few weeks..
to any americans lurking around this thread - please please please check out some of the local stuff around texas and new orleans. thar be poetry afoot! its renaissance time in the south
