i thought that song, if about drugs, was about heroin.

otherwise, just the lyrics are just poetic license.

and you present an interesting interpretation. the cadence of your voice differentiates it from the other versions. although i still prefer the way Trent Reznor did it... building to the crescendo at the end, rather than doing it big and dramatic throughout.
