NBA Playoffs 2008 [CHAMPION: Killer619]

I am starting a tournament to follow the NBA playoffs.
Format is 1 vs. 1 and each matchup with be a best-of-7 showdown as in the real NBA playoffs. Teams will play in a 2-2-1-1-1 format with the higher seed getting four games on their home map if the series goes that far.

I plan to run 2-3 games each week (hoping to follow the pace of the real playoffs)...this is open to FREE and PREMIUM players...if you're free just keep a slot or two open please.

The bracket will match the NBA playoff bracket, which is below.

I'm limiting choices to geographical maps (no duplicates please) and all games will be sequential and sunny. Cards and forts are up to each player.

I'm just curious, but are Age of Realms and Feudal War really considered "Geographical" maps? I wouldn't think so. I thought a geographical map was one based on an actual location.

pms have been sent out to Killer619 and Juls to select new maps, sorry that slipped by me.

Please keep that in mind when selecting a map...no duplicates and geographical (of real places) only. It seems to make for better 1 vs. 1 play, and with only 16 players it should be easy enough to select 16 different maps.

All right...only one spot left Atlanta, Toronto or Utah, then I'll fill in the two players who didn't care what team they got and ask OP for rights to start the tourney. Hopefully, we can get started before the weekend is over.

Also, the two players that needed replacement maps chose San Fran and USA...I decided to give some wiggle room and allow duplicates as long as they aren't in the same conference. A best-of-7 series would be a bit boring if all the games were played on the same map.

Close between me and Vexx so far, 1-1 at the moment, both quite one sided, hell I was relieved to win that 2nd one...!

A few of the first-round games have been completed already...so far no one has gone up 2-0, so it should make for some pressure-packed play over the next week.

Cleveland and Washington have also split the first two games, with two intense battles. Cleveland will be trying to regain home court advantage by taking at least one in Washington.
