I watched an episode of the Kumars at No. 42 yesterday. It was okay, pretty cute. I liked the mom.

I will watch A Bit of Fry and Laurie today during lunch and report back.

Sex talk in class, and tricky linguistics are good youtube offerings. Also slightly mad.

I watched the first two episodes of the first series. I never laughed out loud, but it was entirely amusing, very smart, and enjoyable. I'll continue with it for my lunchtime entertainment.

In the first series she had a wonderful technique...

She's so sweet and accommodating and a nice contrast to the father and grandmother.

I'm an even bigger Hugh Laurie fan after watching the show. He pulls off such a damn good American accent, that I didn't know he was British.

Pretty much all of the best ones have been mentioned, but here's my list in no particular order

Alan Partridge
Porridge
League of Gentlemen
Peep Show
Spaced
Gimme Gimme Gimme
The Young Ones
A Bit of Fry and Laurie
The Office
Yes Minister / Yes Prime Minister
Hancocks Half Hour
Red Dwarf
Worst Week of My Life
One Foot In The Grave
The Fast Show
The Mighty Boosh
Steptoe And Son
Blackadder
Alexei Sayle's Stuff
Fist Of Fun
Monty Python
Extras

I may be biased, but I think the British do TV comedy better than anyone else.

I've just watched an episode of Saxondale starring Steve Coogan. It's quality, you should check it out. :D

I saw an interview with Stephen Fry that, in order to retain his accent properly, Laurie doesn't drop the accent whenever he's not shooting and therefore it's pretty weird talking to him.

He's pretty dedicated, I didn't even notice it was him untill seeing an announcement of the show, I had watched a bunch of the episodes already but just didn't notice it was him.

He's aged really well. I'd do him. And I'd heard that about the accent. Whatever he's doing works.
