Players like you who can tackle the competition head on. Make sacrifices where necessary and above all come away at the end of the year with the coveted CC AFL Premiership Cup. BASIC INFO
This tournament will consist of 16 players who will play for one of the 16 teams of their choice in the real AFL league.
We will be following the 2008 AFL Fixture (new games will be released as the others are completed). Freemiums please keep one slot open for this tournament! Once notification has been sent out you will have 48 hours to join your game. If you fail to join, this will mean an automatic forfeit. However, I am not unreasonable, if RL issues prevented from joining just send me a PM and I will arrange for a new game to be set up with your original opponent.
A win will earn you 4 points, a draw (longer than 20 turns) will net you 2 point, and a loss will send your team and fans crying from the ground.
If someone fails to join their game 3 times they will be removed from the tournament and will be replaced by a reserve
MAPS
Each team will be able to choose their own map, with whatever settings you like (it’s your home ground after all!!!)
STRUCTURE
Once the preliminary games have been completed the finals will begin this is the format that will be followed.
FINALS ROUND ONE
G1:First Place V Second Place (winner progresses straight to semi finals, loser has 2nd chance)
G2:Third Place V Fourth Place (winner progresses straight to semi finals, loser has 2nd chance)
G3:Fifth Place V Eighth Place (winner progresses to round two, loser is eliminated)
G4:Sixth Place V Seventh Place (winner progresses to round two, loser is eliminated)
FINALS ROUND TWO
G5:Loser of G1 V Winner of G3
G6:Loser of G2 V Winner of G4
SEMI FINALS
G7:Winner G1 V Winner G5
G8:Winner G2 V Winner G6
GRAND FINAL (TO BE PLAYED ON A RANDOM MAP W/ RANDOM SETTINGS)

It is my intent to make this tournament an ongoing event. Once one finishes, another will begin with the original players being given the opportunity to take their former slot.
