This thread is kinda depressing.
Well this is a Risk website...odds are that people who like strategy games enough to visit the forums here are, in fact, above average when it comes to brains.
I agree that the vast majority of the people that frequent this site are of above average intelligence, but I would hope that those same individuals wouldn't be so quick to point it out to others.

There are many factors you could go by. And not ridiculas one's like " Im sex smart" or" Im hamburger smart".
But I am hamburger smart. That said, you use an IQ test. Hint: Under 110 = rather average, under 100 = below average.
I did a this IQ test that test your algebraic patterning skills. For adults the average was 100 and above average was 110. I got 112 and im only 13 ( was 12 when I did test). Im mathamatically inclinced ( 195 degrees inclined
). Plus I did a major essay in one day and got tied for highest mark.

surely the poll wasn't using such a broad definition of intelligent.

I like the IQ Test mainly because I have an IQ of 150. I think that speaks for itself.

A far better way to phrase the question would have been:
"Are you less intelligent than Dancing Mustard"
A1. Much
A2. Very Much
Essentially it's the same question, but leaves less scope for confusion and relays the genuine nub of the exercise much better.
I mean, that's what we're all essentially commenting on here... right?

Sorry, i hadnt read the q properly:
I am .00154 as intelligent as Mustard, which by a quirk of Maths also means i am a million times brighter than Prowler.
Hmm, my tongue seems very brown...

Sorry, but the collosal arrogance of people on thisd site cracks me up- 81% of users think they are intelligent, and yet i bet half of them couldnt tell you where Atherton was run out for 99 against Australia.
Pathetic.

I believe you and now I'll have a guess at yours - Old Trafford. Only because he played for Lancs. Or one more in case that's wrong - The Gabba.

Good guesses, but it was Lords
I was there, and he slipped turning back for his (third?) run, going for the century.
Cant remember the year, guessing 1999.
Tremendous player-if we'd had ten more Athers we'd never have lost a Test

I agree with this. Risk takes a little more intelligence than pushing the fire button and killing zombies or aliens.

Just not much more. I enjoy CC, and love risk, but please lets not fall into the self aggrandising trap of pretending that you need a fucking Phd to play it.
How i would love to mention Johnny Rocket at this point. But i cant.

A better question would be
'Do you consider yourself an intellectual?'
Due to current economic conditions the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off
