I was thinking of changing maps so you have a classic map with capitals so then It would add map variants without adding options so lets say a capital in northwest territory It give a bonus of 1 man but it is still a part of north america. A twist is you minus 1 point from the actually continent so you have to own the capital to get 1 but you onlyget the full five bonus for controlling the capital of continent and continent.
Another Idea is to have countries added like new zealand
and the falklands islands, hawai but they are apart of a completely new continent Islands for example. It would add exiting twists to maps.
