I know that the actual names of the countries on my map may make no sence but I'm not a geologist so I don't really know how to name them after their geographic situation.
If you have better names than mine, just tell me, (Africa Ice Cap was a very good idea) I also though about naming Egypt "Pyramid" or something like that, supposing that the pyramids would be covered by sand then discovered by archeologists in the future, anyways...
Thank you for your suggestions :D

I'm thinking calling argentina patagonia, stuff like that. Countries need to go: Ukraine, Kazakhstans, Congo, Mozambique, Nigeria, Libya, Tanzania, Colombia, Chile, Brazils.

I quite like the names as they are. Keeping them as countries gives you a sense of comparison somehow (though i think England should be renamed Britain)

Yes, i think Britain is a better name.

You made the map totally wrong...

1. Alaska is on Asia.
2. South America fits onto east Africa, not south.
3. India/part of China is mostly it's own continent about the size of austrailia.
4.Oceana and Antarctica conect with Asia.

This is Pangaea Ultima, Earth 250 million years in the future. Unless that's what you were referring to...?

Whenever a map is marked abandoned it is usually because of one of two things:

1. The Cartographer has become inactive.
2. The Topic lacks interest.

==============

This falls under #1.

Hello, I'm the creator of the original map
I actually didn't have time to work on the map during the school year. I wasn't really motivated actually.
However the map was almost finished when NinjaArmy contacted me. So I just completed it. You'll notice that I've changed all the countries. The borders are actual politic borders. I decided to do so cause I really didn't like the way they were set; they were quite randomly drawn. Some people wont like the new ones. I personnaly think the borders have no importance as this is a representation of the world in 250M years. I just like the countries the way they are now. They're better to my eyes. This configuration is definitive.
I'd like to appologize for being absent of this thread all this time. Thanks to everybody who gave me ideas and support.
Thanks to NinjaArmy for resurecting this project. He motivated me to finish the images. He's supposed to work on the code now. I hope this will be a good map and you'll enjoy playing on it.
Thanks

I don't think you need a whole new thread for this. It'd be just as easy to continue with the old one. Plus, it's easier to see a map's history/progression if it's all in one thread.
