BAN the Double Rainbow Society Clan

Otherwise known as the DRS, should all be added to your ignore. If they dont like the way you play or if you act dishonourable (they are the judge) then they issue a bounty on your head. Their members will actively seek to eliminate you from games and they will also allow you to join their clan if you do so.

This has happened to a very honourable member of my clan (QYU) around 2 -3 months and has happened again to spaceghst44 (who isnt in my clan). See thread ;

I find this very disturbing, unsportsman like and against the spirit of Conquer Club! Im also quite sure that this also goes against the CC rules of not declaring an alliance in chat.

But what can we do? Ive instructed all my clansman to put the below clansman on their foes list and I wish you all would do the same. They are basically blacklisted until they publicly denounce this very childish and unsportsmanlike practise.

Obviously any gross abuse of the game is forbidden. This includes but is not limited to: throwing games, intentional deadbeating, serial teammate killing, hijacking accounts.

haha ok, blacklist me hulmey. the point is if you dont' act like a douche people won't act douches to you. qyu lost a game to me and accused me of cheating w/ no basis. spaceghst44 deadbeated, verbally harassed, and left retaliatory feedback against someone in drs. also, hulmey's accusation of us targeting these people is wrong. did i eliminate qyu in a game, sure i did. i did it b/c we played him in a triples & quads game and it was to WIN THE GAME. fact is hulmey & his cohorts are cowards and defend kids that ruin the online experience for others. you want to blacklist me go for it, it's not like you've had the guts to play me in a game yet anyway.

Do NOT ban the clan, let it exist, but I'm all for ignoring the members and that will be a lot easier if they're in one place and somewhat organized. Really, what sort of idiots are you rainbbowers? "Bounties" on players? "Kill this player to gain acces to our clan." If someone deadbeats you give him a neg or something and move on, but carrying grudges from one game to the next is possibly one of the lamest things ever.

I know I haven't played you, but if every DRS member is anything remotely like you I'm glad that's the case.

i've never made a post about issuing a bounty. and we're the best kind of idiots. i am dumbfounded at the support douchechills keep getting from ignorant twinks like this guy - if you deadbeat, abuse the feedback system, verbally harass individuals in game chat, make wild cheating accusations following a loss, and ruin the gaming experience for many by insighting hate speech and propaganda about an entire group based off of one or two individuals than have no fear, MeDeFe will put you on his friends list and even offer to let you play a 7 person british isles game if you have less than 1100 points. MeDeFe - merely charging douchebags 7 points a game to defend them.

to answer your question, we put the bounty up only after spaceghst was incredibly rude, disrespectful, and in violation of a number of CC rules in response to the negative feedback he received from one of our members for willingly and voluntarily deadbeating a speed game. Also, we have given him the option to apologize and all will be forgotten.

Feel free to ignore us at your leisure though

Why don't you just place them on your foes lists if you don't like them? If they are breaking rules report them then and let it get sorted out.

The DRS is a clan that stands for unity. Each of these "childish" bounties that Hulmey describes was originally posted with the intent of retaliating against members of this community who offended a member of the DRS in some way. Qyu accused us of cheating, and Spaceghost left some ridiculous feedback following a speed game in which he intentionally deadbeated. Qyu's accusation was debunked, and if you ask me, Spaceghost is the one who should be blacklisted for deadbeating.

If Hulmey wants to "blacklist" us from his games (I think I may have played him once, not exactly sure about the other Untouchables) - so be it. It's a paltry price to pay for standing in support of our clanmates and personal (not just virtual) friends. At the end of the day, I'm happy with the stances I've taken against Qyu, Spaceghost, and now it seems Hulmey for their negative comments about our clan.

To sum up your posts, you DRSers feel free to give access to your exclusive clan to people if they eliminate players with bounties, dealing with unjustified feedback by reporting it is just not enough for you, no, you must "take action against dishonourable players" until the "publicly apologise".

The only reaction to this is along the lines of "stupidstupidstupidstupid".
Leave a neg, report it if you get a retaliatory, maybe create a thread in GD warning others if the player really acted like an asshole. But instigating others to kill him off in completely unrelated games? That's idiocy, pure and simple idiocy.

MeDeFe - are you in a clan? I'm guessing the answer is no, most freemiums I've come across are not. Operating under the assumption that you aren't, I'll elaborate a little on my previous post...

Our clan is a group of friends who joined this site to have some fun, win some games, and maybe (just maybe) talk a little smack along the way. I'd like to emphasize the point I made earlier about unity. You might find it "idiotic" or "stupidstupidstupid" as you so eloquently stated, for us to call for action against those who offend us, but I suppose you don't know much about loyalty or camaraderie. We will always stick together in our games and on these forums. That's something you'll need to get used to.

Regarding the original poster, Hulmey. While I stand by all previous statements made by the DRS on this and other related threads, I do in fact have a shred of respect for his stance on his clanmate Qyu. I really can't fault him for that.

The fact is that this entire thread and attack on the DRS is doing very little to further it's own cause. You won't receive an apology. We won't stop exposing those who offend us. We won't back down. Deal with it.

I met a guy last night, who told me he was going to go kill someone. I didn't ask details, but it seemed someone had done something to offend his honour, and he was going to exact his revenge. I tried to say what I could to talk him down a bit, but he wasn't having any of it. There wasn't much I could say to stop him. He seemed pretty set on doing something that will probably get him into a lot of trouble. I really hope he calmed down before he found whoever it was he was looking for. Not just for the intended victim's sake, but for his own, as well.

I see a lot of similarities between that (highly uncomfortable) situation, and this (not as serious IRL) one. This whole fiasco seems like 2 sides who won't back down, even if they could get in a lot of trouble (Bounty threads=gross abuse?). I think everyone involved in this should take a step back, and a deep breath. Add the "offensive parties" to your 'foe' list, and get on with something else already.

I am not sure about the rest. But I have never had troubles with trapyoung, or Kitchen Sink. I have had nothing but good games with them. Don't think I have played any of the others.

Not only are trapyoung and jpeter15 clearly separate people (jpeter15 is in poland, trapyoung is in the united states), they are both founding members of the well-respected clan known as the Double Rainbow Society (DRS for short). As President, I have made the executive decision that this aggression will not stand.

Accordingly, DRS has temporarily suspended its rigid membership requirements and will welcome into the clan any conquer club member, regardless of rank, who PM's myself or Siedshow99 evidence of a game where the player has eliminated Qyu from the game.

This offer will continue without interruption until Qyu issues a public apology to trapyoung, jpeter15, and the Double Rainbow Society for his senseless and inappropriate slander of two distinguished DRS majors.

yes, if you read their bounty threads and the polite warnings from mods, like andy, it is amazing that some sort of action hasn't been taken by CC. this is a deplorable practice. imagine if all clans behaved this way towards members that wronged members of clans in games, somehow. i mean, bad chat, poor play, left a 1 star rating, LETS GET 'EM!!!! great way for a clan to behave. i'd be embarrassed if i were a member of their clan and didn't believe this was the way for a clan to behave.-0
