bazmac, you are completely within your rights to think something is fishy and report it if you feel it necessary.

soka and gcwca_4_life, just because a report has been filed it does not mean you are going to get banned. Hell, someone reported me for having a secret alliance/cheating/whatever else a long time ago and it was completely bogus. If you didn't do anything wrong, you'll be just fine. No reason to get all inflammatory and start cursing up a storm.

JR24, come on now, is it really all that much of a concern to you? We all know you like to bust cheaters, but the report has already been made, no reason to jump in just to jump in. I learned that lesson from you after all.

This is certainly not a situation that needs to create a big argument. One player thought something was fishy and reported it, simple as that, no need to get hotheaded or tie your panties all up in a knot. Let the Hunters do their job, it will get taken care of in due course.

gc & soka are definitely not multis. I've spoken with thenm on chat and I was there when gc announced that he was account sitting.

the CC rules do not state that the original player must take the first turn,
however they do state that a sitter is only to take a turn ONLY IF THE PLAYER IS IN DANGER OF MISSING A TURN. therefore if the clock runs down, it is actually more by the rules, not breaking them

also, gc will be sitting for me starting tomorrow (and some people just need to grow up)

You can, with the stipulation that the account babysitter is not your opponent in any current game and does not start or join new games (except for ongoing tournaments). It is common courtesy to announce in game chat that another player will take your turn(s) during your absence. Furthermore, you should only take another player's turn if they are in danger of missing a turn, not for the purpose of gaining a tactical advantage.

So soka created these games and realized that he will be unable to make any turns for these certain dates and had someone babysit his account for him. I find nothing wrong with that. If soka did created these games, then he did not violate the rule, since the account sitter did not created these games. The account sitter, as a courtesy, immediately announced his presence at the start of the game when it was initialized or joined by another player. Pretty grey area but I consider no rules broken here as I see no intentional or malicious game play here.
