I never claimed to but I know who fox is and I know he's not lying, how are you going to say he's lying when he was telling the truth about lovo and ace???

I was really confused when someone who claims to be fox was telling the truth about lovo. Everybody who has been paying attention in this thread, remembers that I'm theorizing that "fox" decided to fake-claim "fox" while saying "LoVo is innocent", in an attempt to get LoVo lynched -- he knew the real fox would come out and counter-claim. That's the only thing that makes sense to me right now, anyway.

So, Dano, the fact that you claim to know for certain that fox is not me, is why I know for certain that you are scum.

See both the players on DK's list bandwaggoned me when I tried to call Dito out on not being fox, I mean kill me if you must, you will regret it, if you're all going to bandwagon me, at least wait until after 4PM EST when I get out of work so I can at least role claim

I don't trust much the Fox message, mainly because Ace would be freaking obviously cleared after Lovo's death, so that's like the worst cop move ever if he's telling the truth.
DK doesn't sound much better to me, as if we got the unnamed messages at the beginning correctly identified he's the one who claimed Lovo was GF.
To add to the confusion, it's fine and dandy they identified themselves, but they can perfectly impersonate each other without us having a clue as to who is who. The styles don't seem different enough to help with the identification either.
At this point I'd tend to say f*ck them and ignore the messages till we have a way to clearly identify them.

Now the thing about Dito and Dano makes it sound like we have to lynch one of them. I'm not too convinced it's our best bet, even though we do have to solve the situation at some point...

Dano, since he was proved to have night actions by MIB, claims an important role, fairly guessable. If you don't want to claim yet maybe a name claim would add something to the table.

Dito, counterclaimed Fox right away then nexus. The bad part about it is nexus is a ridiculously easy fakeclaim for scum to do, and because of that can never be trusted fully as they can't be cleared. If he's honest, the DK investigation provided it's true means nothing. If he's scum there's a risk to take in lynching him since nexus is of course a pretty useful role. Either way I'd like the opinion of brawl players as for how Fox could fit in this role.

I'm not too keen on lynching one of them as both sound honest and a potential useful role, though it does seem like a situation where only one of them can be telling the truth... Right now I'm slightly more inclined on trusting Dano because of Dito's nexus claim.

Pretend you can trust me for one second: I'm a nexus. So if I'm proven townie, then I'm not likely to be lynched. And I can't be NKed. So it would be very hard for town to lose, once I'm proven townie.

Dano just offered himself up a way for me to prove myself townie. We lynch him, he's scum, and the game's almost in the bag.

I just realized something... perhaps dano is telling the truth. If he thinks he knows for certain I'm not fox... since I'm a nexus, wouldn't an investigation of me reveal that I'm someone else? I think that's how it works...

I already said that I'm the real Fox -- the message-sender is lying (though I have no clue why. Why would someone who is telling the truth about LoVo be lying about who they are? Which is why I think they are actually scum trying to confuse us). I don't know why Fox would be a Nexus, but perhaps one of the people who actually own and play video games would know.

Ok, with the element brought by Cmc that Fox as nexus does make sense, I feel more confident about this mess. I might have been more wary indeed if Dano said he had found out Dito wasn't Fox, but he's claiming he knows the "real" Fox. I don't buy it, he has some explaining to do. Without necessarily telling who Fox is but how he reached this conclusion so we can find out if he's just BSing or if there's a loophole that could have mislead him. Upping the pressure.

This leaves us with a win-win situiation sort of, unless someone becomes stupid.

Situations:

1. We kill Dano since he's lying and thus do two things, kill a scum and confirm a townie.

2. When were about ti lynch Dano, the true Fox confesses then we lynch Dito. If the real Fox is out there lurking please own up soon before we lynch townies unnescessarily.
