For the most part, the media is controlled. Does that mean youtube is? Obviously not. If I lived in a world where all media is untrustworthy, It'd be hard to get ANY information. You just discount ALL of youtube because it is a free forum to post your views. So, yes some hogwash is bound to appear, but this is were discernment comes in.
