Day Two Lynch

"He's one of them ninjas, I tells ya!"

Cosmo was ranting to some of the other townsfolk about someone who had come under suspicion, Frenchie. Cosmo had stumbled into Frenchie's house looking for him, but found some rather damning evidence instead. It seemed Frenchie had grabbed one of the dead ninja's small daggers and kept it for himself. He figured he would use it for protection if he ever needed it. He didn't think of the consequences if someone were to find it.

Frenchie, who stood in the middle of the confused and somewhat angry mob, tried to explain his actions, but no one was listening. The more Cosmo ranted and raved about finding the dagger, the more enraged everyone in the town square became. They needed someone to take out their frustrations on, and Frenchie was making a fine target.

Finally, Ice came striding through the crowd with a rope. It seemed Frenchie's fate was sealed. As the noose slipped over his neck, he felt somewhat calm knowing that he would no longer have to fear the pirates and ninjas any longer.

animorpherv1(Frenchie)(Vanilla Townie) died a rather painful death.

Night Scene

Barnaby and Jacque couldn't take it anymore. They sat in Barnaby's house listening to the horror that was happening just outside the window. Jacque looked at Barnaby.

"What do you say? Are we just going to stand by and do nothing?"

Barnaby met his look. "Not anymore."

As Jacque raised up out of his seat, the door blew open into the house. Jim "The Hook" Jenkins and Ichiro crashed into the house, each combatant's blade clanging against the other's. Just as The Hook got the upper hand on his masked adversary, the two over-zealous townsfolk entered the fray with cudgels. Barnaby grabbed Ichiro and clubbed him in the ribs, and Jacque was able to slam his cudgel into Jim's knee.

Ichiro quickly dispatched of his foe, being more skilled in the arts of war. mr. incrediball(Barnaby)(Mason) felt Ichiro's blade slide in between his ribs and pierce his heart. He watched Jacque fight on as his vision went black.

And fight on Jacque did. Jim was having trouble keeping his feet, his kneecap smashed to bits. But he eventually fought Jacque into a corner. Jim ducked an attempt at his head, and, rising up, slashed Jacque's throat wide open. Needless to say, icedagger(Jacque)(Mason) quickly bled to death.

Just as Ichiro was about to dispatch of his otherwise occupied foe, he felt a sharp pain in his back. He turned to see a man in a black hood standing in the doorway holding a bloodied dagger. Ichiro knew he was injured, but he didn't know how seriously. Using a smoke bomb, he escaped out the back door.

Jim wasn't so lucky. His knee wasn't working any longer, and the masked man closed in on him. He desperately tried to keep his new foe from him, but his strength failed him. The masked man plunged his dagger into Jim time and time again, screaming about revenge as he did. fireedude(Jim "The Hook" Jenkins)(Deck Swabber/Goon) spent the last few seconds of his life lying in a pool of his own blood. The masked man fled out the front door.

As the sun rose on the third day, the townsfolk found their way into Jacque's home to find the bloody mess that now occupied it. They knew they couldn't take many more losses. They had to work harder during the day, when their attackers lay dormant.

…sigh... you guys are always lynching ani. We need to learn how to sift through his mistakes, and our prejudice against him, to look for actual scumminess. You did it in Fircoal's Un mafia, too, right after I died.
