No, I wanted a 1 game victory but realised I had to put an extra game in, and I was struggling with the tie-breaker. And besides, I think there is a market for very quick tournaments, recently I've been running tournaments that are a lot longer, and they take a lot longer to fill...

Actually, there is an excessive flood of small, quick tournaments because people are hunting to boost their medal count with the minimal amount of effort. Not because there is a "market" for them.

If you look through most of my tournaments, most of them take a long time to fill, and all of them are 16 players. They are mainly long-haul tournaments, I did the maths. People don't want to play too many games
