played for RKC Waalwijk , Feyenoord(twice), Rangers, Arsenal and Barcelona. He has played for his country in the 1998 World Cup, Euro 2000, Euro 2004, 2006 World Cup and the Euro 2008.

American Samoa. Crazy game, part of the 2002 World Cup qualifiers, official scoreline is 31-0, though there's a lot of contention because the ref was a... how do I say this diplomatically... a World Cup ref lol. That scoreline is now the record highest scoreline / margin in a World Cup qualifier.

So here's the next question:

What game held the previous highest scoreline / margin for a World Cup qualifier? I can tell you it was 17-0...
