I was a bit surprised, too, that they got away from their game plan. McFadden had been having a whale of a game. The only thing I could think is that Nutt panicked and didn't think he had the time on the clock to continue a run-oriented gameplan. Instead he put the game in the hands of a fairly inexperienced quarterback and paid the price.
