Precocious Talents

Post by jiminski »

I was looking for this song earlier... sadly i heard it on a random TV advert.
That type of thing is very subjective but it had at least two highly sophisticated hooks in it. And her voice had complexity which inferred great depth to me.
As it turned out, the girl wrote and performed the song.... she is from Melbourne (Australia) she is only 16.

Gabriella Cilmi

other extraordinary talents i remember seeing belie the limits of age:

Sammy Davis Junior (age 7)
(forgive the montage.)

and I remember seeing a short film of Diego Maradona aged about 10 ... that individual had more skill then than any member of the England Football team ... if you can find that film of Maradona please post it.

Thats not really talented. I could tell she was using an algorythm that someone taught her. I have a friend who learned the algorythm and has finished the cube in around 45 seconds.

hehe .. yeah go to a toy shop and look at the toys aimed at 3 year olds... it is roughly the 'put shapes into the right hole' bracket... that little 3 year old was actively working out what move to make next.
that the technique was taught just proves that she was able to retain the information and adapt it... incredible.
