As you know, the Mighty Thor has a mystical hammer named Mjolnir. One of its interesting features is that it can only be picked up by someone with the purest of hearts, and the utmost courage. Many have tried to pick up the hammer and have failed. A very small few have succeeded. Name them.
Couldn't possibly do them all, but didn't Wonder Woman do this in one of the cross-overs? And I have an idea that either Cap or DD did too. Oh, and Ben Grimm?
Surely, oh faulty memory fairy, you can't be telling me Dr Doom?
Yep, Wonder Woman did indeed manage to pick up the hammer, as did Cap'n America. Ben Grimm tried, but couldn't do it. To the best of my knowledge, Daredevil's never even tried.
I've heard a rumor about Victor Von Doom, but I've never actually seen that one. I find it really hard to believe that it could have happened.

Who did I miss then? or do we have to wait for someone to get it right?
And I bet DD could. He is my all-time favourite. It used to be a joke in the Marvel offices, "DD vs the Hulk - what happens in panel 2?" until Frank Miller wrote a very fine DD vs hulk story.
Not counting Thor himself, I believe there have been seven people who have successfully managed to pick up Thor's hammer. Wonder Woman was the only female to do so. Steve Rogers also succeeded.
So far, the official list of those that have been able to lift Mjolnir: Thor, Odin, Tiwaz, Red Norvell, Beta Ray Bill, and Captain America. Wonder Woman also did, when she and Thor met in a crossover event some years ago. Other than that, no other characters have.
Apparently the Hulk succeeded in the Ultimate Avengers movie. Sort of. (I haven’t seen the movie yet, but apparently Hulk got around this magical property by picking up the chunk of ground that the hammer was resting on. It sounds kinda fishy to me though…)
The answer was "Peric". Sorry, I'd forgot all about this. You guys really should track the Trigan stuff down, it's classic. It'd make a good map or two as well.
OK: Otto Binder invented the whole Shazam thing. He was also the O of Eando Binder, that wrote the original story called I Robot, which inspired Asimov.
Whoever can name the most people who have been/ seemed to be "Robin" can ask the next one, as it seems my questions are too esoteric.
