I stopped playing several years ago, but if you want a good giggle (or a good despair at what happens when capitalism and pleasant geek hobbies collide) then google "tarmogoyf" (sp?) an "expensive"/"price"/"f*ck you wizards" or some such, then find a link to one of the many 1000 page threads of irate geeky people screaming abuse at WOTC for printing a card that fetches $40 a piece (a card, not a set) on the singles re-sale market and outclasses ever single other creature ever printed.
Seriously, it's absurd.
Though the threads do make some hilarious reading, some of those guys take games way too seriously.
Too true.

Tube. Not sure how well it will work. The store already had it hooked up to a guitar for customers so it's not exactly in prime condition but it did give me a pretty good discount on the price. The good news is I did hear it working and it seemed to be alright.

It should be fine then as long as you didn't drop it taking it home. That's the trouble with that old technology, it breaks easy. Sounds awesome though. Kinda funny, when transistor amps first came out people were complaining about the sound and the companies were all like "No... That's how it's supposed to sound..."
In heaven... Everything is fine, in heaven... Everything is fine, in heaven... Everything is fine... You got your things, and I've got mine.

I'm surprised you don't have one already. Though, if you don't want to set up an amp, you could also just get yourself a pair of headphones with a quarter inch jack, could you not?

yeah but my point is that I wouldn't want to set up anything, i could just pull it out and start playing. As for why I don't have one to begin with. That really is a good question.

Damn Magic Cards. All they were was a way for the nerds to rip of all the normal school kids. Back in the day, it got big in my school for about a month and the nerds made a fortune and i was left out of pocket $60. Damn those nerd kids, they should be banned.
The silliest point was when some shopkeepers (not including me) were opening all the booster packs, throwing away the worthless cards, and selling the rare ones for way more than the price of a whole booster pack.

i started with an accuostic one and went on from there, they are good for playing without hassle and stuff.

over here it never took off, Poke did, as did Digimon but not that. both have died now, but then again both were huge, tv, games, comics, cards, everything.
