That's a very misleading thread title. I have 2135 unique kills. Map Rank already calculates this. Your "top 10 list" is based on who you choose to put on the list and maybe on who chooses to respond to this thread. Just stick to the facts mam.

Jpliberty,i dont choose who will be on list,even i have only 350-400 unique defeat oponent,every one can respond to this thread and give score,and you to.

Actually... as I was looking through my maps and ranks, i saw some maps that logged no wins, that I know I have wins in...

Maybe this isnt the right place to ask, but do we know this thing works correctly. or am I possibly doing something wrong? or does it possibly not calculate 1v1's or something?

update... when i run waterloo seperately, it shows my 16 wins out of 24...when i run all maps..it shows 0 wins... anyone else have discrepencies?

Map Rank grossly overstates the number of unique defeats. Its because, it adds up the number of unique defeats in each map. So say I defeated X in Classic, World 2.1 and Age of Merchants -- it would count as 3 unique defeats rather than 1. Plus it also doesnt take into account some corrupt games, as pointed out by Fitz. Use the right tools.

To answer the 'games not won', some of the game logs are missing so it can't calculate the point loss/gain. That's as much as I know.

Apologies in advance, a little hungover today but this post is completely clueless.

Map Rank gets the unique defeats exactly right, not the points.

When you run Map Rank + All maps in the left menu Map Ranks saves the info so it doesn't have to do a full scan subsequently.
So it is possible Fitz needs to do a full rescan to get the correct data.

My advice to Fitz is to do a full rescan.

Toggle the Rank and Points checkbox. Run Map Rank + All. Toggle the Rank and Points checkbox and run Map Rank + All.

The unique defeats calculation is not difficult and is done exactly the same way as the site does.

So listen to the right advice.

Regarding the post quoted, unique defeats are calculated EXACTLY the same as the site, get it - missing logs only affect points.
