Pancakemix: I only played through Lightside, but even though it goes against his own alignment, he still follows you loyally if that's your decision. I understand he does the same if you're Darkside, but never got that far myself.

We're left with several options concerning ani, then:

1. Lynch him. He has a red lightsaber, red lightsaber=evil, evil=lynch. 'Nuff said.
2. Leave him alone. There's a possibility that he was telling the truth and he is Reven and pro-town, but just happens to have a red lightsaber, seeing as my char is loyal to him and is pro-town.
3. Leave him alone (for now). There's also the possibility that he picked up a pro-town name as a fake claim.
4. ???. Will said this game isn't exactly like the game itself, so it's possible that he's Reven and scum and I'm HK-47 and pro-town. I could be wrong, though.

MOD, instead of having a deadline, why not prod anybody who hasn't posted in the last 5-6 pages?

There is one other explanation I guess.. he could have his old lightsaber back from when he was a dark jedi before the republic captured him. I don't see why he would though?

He couldn't though, Revan's memory was wiped after capture and possessions taken. Why would he have a red lightsaber now unless he decided to turn evil again?

Put it like this- if he has a red lightsaber there is a very high chance he is scum. There is a small chance it's not his lightsaber, but probablity suggests he is scum.

Doesn't really make any sense that you'd vote me for putting the argument forward.. if you agree with the argument vote ani, if you don't, don't but you can't blame me if it turns out he's town. I'm just presenting the facts and what you seem to agree is the most likely explanation for them

Well, I won't even need an excuse now. Honestly, I don't know how to read Ani. The guy just begs to be lynched no matter what he is. Therefore, his behavior on the issue I feel is irrelevant.

Now, having played the games, I know all about the storyline. (Sorry for spoilers coming up). Like people said, Revan was the player character and had the choice at the end to either choose the light or the dark side. I have a feeling that Ani was given such a choice as well and it would appear that he chose dark side.

But the thing most bothering me is if HK is completely loyal to Revan, how could he make an attempt on his life. Wouldn't there be some connection between the two, or have similar goals?

Regardless, I have no qualms about voting Ani. If Revan is bad, then I think it important we get him out of the way. But then again, has anyone heard of a scum politician?

Anyway, F1fth makes a good point, namely how can HK-47 attack Revan if he's loyal to him, but then I remember that this isn't following the canon exactly, and thus it's possible.
