Anyways, I would prefer keeping my role hidden, ESPECIALLY on day one, but as it's probably the only way to get anywhere, and I see a mob is starting to form in my direction, fine, I'll role claim.

I am NekoBasu, some cat... bus... thing. I am a busdriver. However since I am a big furry bus thing who seldom appears in public, I have no vote on Day one. However, I get to steal the vote of the busdrivee of my choice and use it myself for that day. So if I don't busdrive, I don't vote, and if I steal a vote from a busdrivee, then I can vote the next day, but the busdrivee who's vote I stole can't vote.

What a bug furry cat thing is doing in the middle of a crowded auditorium, I'll never know...

Back when I was still considering the possibility that you are telling the truth about your role being voteless for Day 1, I was thinking more along the lines of shy new student or something like that. I really don't see why NekoBasu would be voteless on Day 1, nor do I see anything in "My Neighbor Totoro" plot that points toward NekoBasu stealing anything from it's passengers. I call bullshit and my vote stays where it is.

Oh, sorry I haven't posted, Perhaps the reason the bus isn't active is because we are already at school on day one, but otherwise (next days) we would rely on it to take us there?

Busdriver, like most roles, could be both a town and a scum role. Just because he claimed does not prove he's town. I never saw this anime, but from what wikipedia tells me the catbus looks friendly enough to be pro-town. No reason to take my vote off jake.

One more remark: I don't like how some people ignore shadow's claim and just carry on with their random day 1 jokes. That way, we'll never get anywhere day 1. I'm talking about these people:

I'm especially suspicious of KiwiTaker, because not only was that his only post so far, it was also just after shadow explained he had no vote - which is not the general day 1 stuff IMO. Can someone tell me if we're still bandwagoning jake? If not, I'm going to move my vote to kiwi.

Well my remark was made just as I was called in to replace, I had not read the thread at that stage. I made that comment mostly as a means as saying "Alright guys, I'm here" rather then the standard "confirm, reading up now".

According to the last vote count Jake is just reaching the halfway mark for a lynch, so I'd assume he's still being bandwagoned.

Shadow's claim seems believable (even if misguided and unnecessary) but he's probably not scum, unless his delaying in replying was because of mando's theory but I'd say its too early to make that call yet.

No, Shadow acted scummy (IMO), so I voted him, so he claimed Voteless on Day 1 (in response to me accusing him of not voting), which I didn't believe so I asked for a role name, to which he responded with a role claim, which I still don't believe, whihc is why I am voting for him and will continue to support lynching him until a better target comes along.
