samurais aren't even an integral part of cult culture.... pirates vs ninjas has been ingrained in the minds of a generation... zombies as well thanks pretty much to romero, and robots are the future.

Another Option since were going for so many "Types" is the use a Selecter like in Ant Wars. To CHoose bonus. Where you can choose between. Pirates, Zombies, ....and so on and start in their land. That would be awsome.
I thought it could be like AoR3, different territories with different effects, but the players aren't actually assigned a faction as such, they just start in the place where a faction is located.
