Vote clive

Did I miss something? Was the vote in blue rule taken out? If not then the last string of votes is moot.

Well I'm pretty conservative with my votes, so I feel as if I should add an extra justification for my jumping on the attempted non-blue "bandwagon". I myself believe that the whole Athena voiceover is connected to the philosophers. I am assuming that those booming male voices the first day were from Ares. That's the most likely scenario and if it's true then I say ignore the hell out of those messages. I am not sure that either Athena or Ares is pro-town however. Agian, back to the philosophers, I'm thinking that this game is full of opposing third-parties. Of course this is merely another wild guess by yours truly, but we can find out by lynching clive. If the role turns out third party then my little theory will seem a little less far-fetched now won't it? And it seems nobody else has a problem with lynching the clive so I don't see why we shouldn't do it.

Vote Clive

I agree with the reasoning that if the role had nothing to hide, then Clive wouldn't need to worry if Dito had fakeclaimed anything.

william18 wrote:He could just be checking if Dito fakeclaimed something. Remember Clive claimed to be a vote counter before he asked what Dito claimed. Since both those claims are the same then why are you suscpiscious. Clive couldn't have followed Dito's lead if he didn't read it.

Hello votehoppers.

I agree with the "a townie wouldn't need to know what his predecessor claimed"-argument more than the argument william brought up. If his role is indeed a mafia goon who has to do votecounts, it makes sense that both Dito and Clive used a townie who has to do votecounts as a fakeclaim, even if Clive didn't read Dito's earlier claim.

Vote Clive

Also, we shouldn't worry too much about ani's comment. People who go around shouting they have an investigative role in-thread have a tendency to get night-killed pretty soon anyway. If he's still alive after a night or two and can't provide us with any results from his role, that would be a good time to lynch him.

No, it was an expression of surprise, really.

What am I expected to defend against? I'm being lynched for my claim. I was just wondering what Dito had claimed, if it was the same thing.

...So your saying that dito may have fake claimed? Why would someone not a threat to the town fake claim? You have pretty much screwed yourself over, at this point. And I suggest that you do a votecount so we know how much longer your scummy butt will live.

I was wondering if he had revealed that i'm a survivor, not a townie.

Whatever, just go ahead and lynch me, I don't care.

you guys are thinking way too hard. The odds of Dito fakeclaiming or really slim. If someone doesn't want to read, and asks what Dito claimed I don't see that bad. And the fact that he doesn't care if he dies seems to fit.
