Decisions... Faced to condemn one of their own, the students were surprisingly composed. One of their own? Not so: they ended up putting the blame on the neighbourhood cop, mostly based on rumors about him harassing female students. The staff was finding this pointless; after all, there wasn't much they could do about a policeman. However, evening saw the problem solve itself...

Flashback. Past headlines. Student brutally slaughtered in high school music room. He lived for this. Preying and feeding on their souls.

Fade. Present. Running after a new prey. Entering a dark alley. Whose turn is it? His.
A rope lashes the air and wraps around his neck.

As he exhales his last breath, the corner of his eye catches his assaillant. Far too late. The dark figure disappears, whistling a sad melody.

Later, after the schoolgirl that Jake was about to kill reported as witness, it became clear that he had a hand in the troubles plagueing Seigaku High. The first day was a success... This didn't prevent students from shivering as they were seeing daylight fade.
