Basically WWII with men, except 100% behind the scenes. Less open warfare, more assassinations and gossip.

How does that help against women who are dieting? Or the all-mechanical and therefore non-eating weapons, like the V1? (C'mon, you know the ladies would've built it too... it just would've had a laundry line attached to the back. Instant clothes dryer. 8-) )

I think the question on everyone's mind is what kind of pie we're talking about. A classic apple? An offbeat peach? Fruit aside, perhaps French Silk? The options are endless.

I have to say, in the European tradition that I was thinking of something main-course rather than dessert - pok pie, french onion tart, something like that.

...Or it could be like the classic Cornish pasty, main course at one end, fruit at the other...and as big as a V-1.

This is an amazing gives-hope-to-a-dieing-man thread...... quick question though...

Where are the ladies?

A superpie that could win a war? What kind of pie could possibly do that? This might be a difficult riddle to solve, but I think, personally, that none of us are equipped to handle that question. To think what would have happened in WWII with only women would require a strictly women's mindset. In my experience, women can be very unpredictable, and their minds are geared differently than men... and I will venture that most of us are men. So, what kind of pie... in my personal opinion, the pie would have to be some kind of new experimental one that has never been made before. I know that women love experimenting in the culinary fields (in the kitchen)...
