Wait wait, how do you know the cults can recruit scum. Usually they won't be able too but I guess in these circumstances yes. But to really be sure, you would have to be a scum that got recruited. Lynching ace would get rid of a possible scum in the case that both cult leaders get killed.

I'm convinced he's Athena. First you have what / said earlier. For the lazy:

Very well, I'm almost sure it's Skittles!, the fact the first message appeared right after the replacement suggests one of the three replacements, Clive is dead, Neutrino is possible, but Skittles has one several occasions suggested a "cradle of civilization" theme to this game, then repeatedly and purposely distanced himself from the Athena Role, with comments like "no wonder why this person stopped playing. boring role", "when I looked at my role again, I saw it couldn't possibly be Asia Minor/Greece" or the posts from just this page even.
These posts were likely to make Ares ignore him in his search.
This method of focusing on the greek aspects of this game, but at the same time using nearly every post to let everyone know that he's definitely not a Greek related role or even important, suggests a power role from Greece.
Namely Athena.

I'm very disturbed by the fact that some people (/, Skittles!, ace1217, pancakemix) are willing to see Athena lynched. The only people who should be interested in that are either Ares, of mafia hoping Ares will join them once Athena dies.

Now he seems to be making a lot of assumptions in this post. First he says that Skittles can't be scum, seeing as he would like to see either lynched, BUT he also said he would prefer Ares' lynch. As / also pointed out, it could be him trying to throw Ares off. Sierra has said that he doesn't know who Athena is, but remember, he's not pro-town. He's free to lie. He may very well know who Athena is and not be telling us. Then he assumes that Ares is going to become scum when Athena dies and that everyone who would want to vote Athena is against him. I would like to know where he got that first bit. On the second half, he seems to forget that we don't care either way. He is propagandizing Athena and openly acting anti-town, which is not a good thing.

And who should be the first one to jump on ace but Skittles. He did it pretty quickly, too. Only a five minute difference. I'll admit, it IS a pretty scummy thing to say, but I will point out that none of Ares' followers have revealed themselves to us, making Athena a much easier lynch. In his next post, he again points out that none of these GGs affect him. This may be a bit premature, but I say Skittles claims or we find out his role for ourselves.

Honestly, the messages took me in. I believed the gods (and xena) when they said they both would turn town after their opposite was lynched. So my first reaction was to ignore it and let it play out while we go on a scum hunt. But the case for skittles! being athena is pretty good. (I also have another reason but it's kind of info outside of thread thing and I can't say cuz of the rules).

If ya'll really think skittles! is athena/ares/godthing then I'll go along and lynch him. I don't know when the deadline is but if it's far off I'm gonna suggest that we try to find scum today and if we can't find ares tonight we lynch skits tomorrow since ares does look a bit more evil.

Let me refresh your memory then: one game that I played with you, you fake claimed three different roles without bothering to notice that the guy you were substituting has claimed a different role. Then, after it became obvious beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are Mafia, you decided publicly support every idea of me - the only remaining member of your Mafia. Then, with only 5 players left alive, you didn't wait for someone else to vote for the Militant, who needed to be lynched for us to win, and then hammer him. Instead you put him on -1 and we only won because Fircoal got impatient and because Militant made an error in voting for Tal to be replaced.
This does not make your reputation 'perfectly good' and it certainly doesn't give you the right to insult other players. Worry about your own game and let then worry about theirs.
