Only winners can rate:

• quite simple, only winners can rate games

Specifics:

• easy - you win, you rate the game, you lose, you get rated

This will improve the following aspects of the site:

• No more revenge ratings because only one player rates
• The ratings will be more positive and less vindictive
• I donno, just thought it would make things a little unfair if only the winners opinion is heard, but it does give ten fold legitimicy to bad ratings... most losers don't give compliments and vice versa...

Well, just thought I'd post my thoughts on the subject...

and another idea I had - Sell "fixed" dice on e-bay for 100$, lack would be a millionare in a matter of weeks

So, if someone cheats or misses two turns and comes back to win because of that, I don't get to leave a rating letting everyone else know that this is what happened. I think you haven't thought this through.

Although I play without alliances... if someone backstabs you and wins because of it, you can't rate them for fair play nor give them the backstabbing tag eh? Pointless if you ask me.

I dont think this is a good idea. Isnt there a 5 day wait period before ratings even show up? and once the game is archived no one can leave ratings unless they play another game? Im certain that is the case.. so how can someone leave a revenge rating? Also as others say, the winner can be much worse then the other player and nothing will happen to him, no warning to other players? Not a very good idea. I like the system as is.
