Only 3 of the first 128 players have not yet started playing.

Most of the players from 129 to 200 who got their games last night have started.

Thanks for your cooperation so that I can figure out how many reserves we need.

I'll send out more games tonight but probably won't get all of them out

As a reminder, some players will have the same map twice. The list of maps and fort combinations was randomly determined. I have a list of a few thousand maps and fort settings and I'm setting games up as they appear on the list.

It is not an error if you have the same map twice. The same maps often appear back to back in your 7 game series because I've been setting the game up as efficiently as possible. If the same game was your 1st and 4th game, then they might be your 1st and 2nd game but you have the same games either way.

All first round games have now been sent by PM

I realize some of your opponents have not yet joined. Since we started early I'll give people some additional time to enter the games in case they are away on vacation or something. I think we will have enough reserves to cover any vacant spots so they will randomly be placed in any openings on Sept. 15th.

My plan is to start all 2nd round games at once and then let players move along at a faster pace if they like when they have their next opponent.

I can tell who hasn't joined games and who has won by viewing the games with game finder ... so it isn't necessary to let me know. However, feel free to post to let everyone else know you are moving forward.

If you weren't aware, you can use game finder to search by tournament name and it will pull up the games if you care to view other games.

Tournament Update

While some just got their games tonight and other are still awaiting their opponent ... 44 players have advanced to the 2nd round.

Biggest upset so far has been Cash_Box defeating Colonel tyche73 despite starting last in 6 of the 7 games

Honorable mention goes to jpcloet who defeated Colonel Incandenza while also going 2nd in 6 games

last group of games are still being entered but we currently have 16 open games and I know why 2 of those haven't joined yet

we should have plenty of reserves to cover any round 1 openings but I'll continue taking reserve sign ups for a couple more days

we still have 11 players that haven't yet joined games. I know why one hasn't yet joined

The open games will be randomly provided to the reserves on Sept. 15th if they are still open

Reserves will only be used in the first 2 rounds ... after that you get a bye if your opponent doesn't show
