I'm obviously posting, yet my post count says zero. Will that change once I have established myself as a regular poster? Also my sig is not showing? Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.

if you go in Board settings accessed via the Control Panel you can toggle a setting so your signature is enabled every time you post. If you ain't gonna do that, there's an option at the bottom of a post saying "Attach a signature (signatures can be altered via the UCP)". Tick that and your signature will be attached to your post.
