What's the difference between noun and proper noun?
- A maximum of 1 proper noun/place.
a proper noun is a capitalized noun...i.e. a person's name, a place, a brandamazzony wrote:This is hard... making the crossword I mean. Maybe it's easier for those whose native language is English.
Anyway, wanted to ask what does this mean:What's the difference between noun and proper noun?

Also, a word (or more exactly, abbrevation) CD is not allowed to use, right?
Another edit... is auf considered as a proper word? My whole crossword depends on it and though it worked in dictionary.com then I'm not sure if I can use it in this tournament... I need somebody to check my crossword
Also, are we allowed to use people's names?
