I'll give my opinions on where to go to read more in a later post.
This is a part of the story of the guy I call Lord Watchout ("Pwyll" in Welsh). The events take place not too far from where my Mam and Tad live today.
EPISODE 1
Watchout was told of a hill in Arberth upon which, if you sat upon it, something interesting would happen. It might be very bad (you'd end up badly beaten) or it might be the most interesting thing that'd ever happened to you.
"I'll take my chances!" he said, and mounted the hill.
He'd not sat there long when a really hot lady rode past on a horse. Right away he was totally enamoured. He told one of his men to chase after her, find out who she was, where she was from, what she was doing on Friday night, and what her email address was.
The guy runs after her. But no matter how fast he runs, the lady gets further and further away, without appearing to hurry.
Eventually, Watchout's man has to give up, go back, and report failure.

So Lord Watchout returns the next day, hoping to see her again.
After a while, she appears, looking as lovely as ever, riding her magnificent horse.
He sends his swiftest rider after her, reminding him to get her cellphone number so he can text her.
THe rider obeys, but again finds that she is receding, apparently without making any effort.
The wily rider realises that there is magic at large here. He wonders if he can catch her by slowing down.
Good thinking - but no he can't. She just draws further and further away, apparently with no effort at all.
The rider coaxes and spurs his steed to the fastest speed it's ever achieved, until the foam begins to fly.
It is no use, the quarry is gone.
ON the third day, Lord Watchout dedides to try himself.
As she appears, he mounts his horse and rides after her.
"Hold up!" he cries, "I only want to know who you are, where you're going, how you work your magic, and why you are so very very beautiful!"
"Well, at last!" says she, "You only had to ask."

SO he asks, what's her name, how's she doing, what's her favourite band, how about that Rugby game last Saturday, would she like to hang out this Friday night and so on.
"My name is Lady*," she says and immediately she turns the heat straight up. Seems he's gotta come and meet the family straight away if he wants to get at all close to her.
Lord Watchout soon realises that she's from the otherlands, and is chockful of magic. She tells him that she's about to get hitched, because her folks have set her up with a guy. He's OK, she guesses, nothing much, but not her type. She's all for him, Watchout, she's in love with him and has been observing him from her world.
Watchout decides it's probably pretty kewl to have a Magic Stalker if she's as hot as this.
The only way that she can get out of the marriage, she says, is if he decides right here and now that he's all for her too. No pressure - declare your undying love and ask me to marry you right here, right now, within seconds of first talking to you, or it's "goodbye, Lady", forever.
She's on her horse, ready to go if he doesn't go for it.
Watchout hesitates not a nanosecond. "I'm on, Lady," he says. "Let's you and I get hitched."
