Shannara

Hey game fans,
I know that some of you must be Terry Brooks readers and since there is a middle earth map I thought that there might be interest in a map based on the Shannara series. Let me know what you think.

I really liked the series, but I'm not sure if there is any copyright issues there or not. Surely if we could have a middle earth map, we should be able to have a Shannara one?

Ehi boys, i would create a map in the Four lands of Shannara.
I'll use the official map given from the books, it's ok?

I enjoyed the books and I think that a Shannara map is an excellent idea. The maps provided in the books were so detailed, I think it would be simple to create one for CC.

I went ahead and made a rough draft. (I scanned the map from my book and drew boundries.) I'll need to neaten up the borders, adjust some sizes, add the westland territories, fix it up in photoshop, and decide bonuses. But do you think the overall design is ok?
There are 35 territories on 7 continents.

i really love the idea of shannara's map!

but i think it will be very better if you redraw the map starting from the original and don't use a scanner image of the original book.
start drawing your version, and then we can study a good gameplay.
