Just to emphasize: THE GOOD TEAM IS NOW FULL. Do not request to be added to it. However, Evil is still available but, depending on the reply I get from the last three posters, may be full. I will still need a reserve for them anyhow.

We're full now. I'll get people's scores, get privileges, and organize the games.

Soon as I get privileges. I've already sent Optimus Prime a request, just waiting for a response.

Right, got privileges. Let's start this thing.

In my opinion, Evil are going to win, but I'm slightly biased, being a member of them. :D

Hmmm....
I think the fun just got taken out of this tournament.
What the hell are we doing acting out LOR on some fucking "Centerscape" map?
Should we wait to continue until this get's resolved?

this just killed the hell out of conquer club for me. WHY did the maps get changed? What copyright laws may the have been in violation of? And how are we just now discovering them?
I guess we should pause for a little bit til they change the maps....

Uh.. they don't make you change something due to copyright, then just let you change it back. This is for good. And it doesn't change the gameplay at all.
Pausing is unnecessary and slightly bovine

lol. That's a nice word, bovine. I might have to start using it.

It does not, however, apply in this case. I'm not saying that I necessarily think we should pause, but it would certainly improve things if we wait long enough. It may not end up being called Middle Earth (tm), but it will certainly be a lot better looking if we give the map foundry time to rework it.

This tourney director deadbeat his most recent game (in another tourney). It is safe to say this tourney will not be up and running anytime soon.

close this thread, tourney is over
milner94 wrote:What I'm talking about is the new update, to avoid copyright issues.

The most noticeable change was the Classic map and the Middle Earth map (which has been renamed "Centerscape"). Firstly, what kind of a name is Centerscape? Obviously it's a parody of Middle Earth. Duh. But look at the graphics on it. Little nodes that connect to other nodes and have names like O3. What the hell?

It takes all the flavour out of two of the most loved maps on ConquerClub.

I personally am so annoyed I'm stopping using the site. I'm going to abandon all my tournaments. I'm glad I didn't buy premium.
