I went from believing the gnostic scriptures, to not believing it, and now I'm on the fence about it. So assuming the gnostic scriptures are legit, Satan was born in Heaven without God's consent. There are parts of the Bible that vaguely hint to this scenerio. That's why I'm on the fence about it in the first place. Basically what it says is that a female angel decided to have a child without God's consent and once she realized the monster she had created, she placed him on a throne in a cloudy area inwhich he would not be found by anyone except the Holy Spirit.

Seriously, read Revelation. It describes Lucifer as a beautiful angel that was cast out of heaven for doing bad things. In Genesis, I believe, it tells how God created the angels. Therefore, God created Satan.
