Can Anyone tell me why I lost??

I just finished playing my first game and some how we were all eliminated, but we still have armies left on the board. I am guessing it has to do with the assasin game type. If it does it how do you look up game descriptions for the different game types. thanks.

If you look here, you can see the game types that are available.

In your game, the game was assassin. In assassin games, you will see only one player with the crosshairs next to their same. Designated by . Whoever kills their target first wins, no matter who is left on the board.

Remember that you must eliminate your target and not some other persons target (like I had done before), else you win that game for that person whose target you eliminated. (I think I said that right)

A cool thing it took me awhile to learn... when using the Game Finder, you can click all of the options you are willing to play in, and options that you don't care about, you can leave blank, to allow the finder to locate all options.

I had tried Start a Game first, which obviously requires you to make decisions, but Game Finder is wonderfully flexible. You can even choose multiple maps for your search.
