*THE* Speed Tournament Test [Canceled]

Post by Natewolfman »

*THE* Speed Tournament
PREMIUM PLAYERS ONLY
Point Requirement: 1,200

Its been tried and attempted multiple times... Most of the time without ever even leaving the ground... Thats right, this is a 1v1 SPEED tournament, I will only be playing 16 players this time around, as this is a test tournament, if it is successfull as i hope it will be, i may make another with more players.

WARNING
The Rules are strict in this one, most tournaments i am VERY leniant, but for this type of a tournament to work I need stract obedience to the rules. ONLY JOIN IF YOU CAN FOLLOW THE RULES BELOW, if you cant, you are wasteing my time, and in a speed tournament, thats not good

---

1) THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART, You will be required to be online on CC at 8:00 PM (USA Central Standing Time) on all next week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
2) I will create the games earlier in the day, and send them to both players at 8:00(central) You will be required to join said game within 15 muinets of me sending it, if you are even a muinet late the game will be void. This is to be fair to all players
3) you will notice i stated 5 days above, while only 4 are needed for this tournament, The first day any player who does not make the deadline will be replaced, no second chances, and tuesday those replacements will take over. From that day on if you miss your deadline you are DQed and your opponent advances.

The rules are very important and tis all centered around time, if you are on CC at the correct time you will be fine, and it is a speed game so, obviously you will have to finish the game in that sitting.

For the map and settings i tried to pick mostly the basics, many dont like the new classic so i am going with another favorite, British Isles.

Map: British Isles
Turn Order: Sequential
Cards: None
Forts: Chained
Fog: No

Once again let me stress that if you join i want to to commit to the times above, i only need 16 players so if even one of the above days dosnt work for you dont join, i will find players elsewhare.

Now let the sign ups begin!

So what's the time in USA Central Standing Time as of now? That way I know what time I would have to be online and if I can join

Sure I'll be in. I'll do my best to get on at those times - shouldn't be a problem.

For anybody that cares to know, USA Central Time is GMT -600

Yep...good thing it isn't 7 central or else I'd opt out of it.

Yeah I get off work @ 8pm on Wed. so I've got to come straight home, but I should have 20+ min. to spare.

What happens if you don't get 16 players by this week? will you be postponing the start of the tourney to the next week?

hey hate to be devil's advocate on this one and i know i can't play i'm teaching at the time but i realize that some parts of our fair country and many places in the world do not observe daylight savings time.....as i've noticed that my clock on bob vs personal standard time are now off by one hour. Cheers just tryin to help u avoid a possible speedbump :D
