Now try again, but this time pay attention to what people are saying, rather than to the things you wish they'd say.

Practice what you preach. I keep explaining to you fools why I think what I think, yet all you can do is mock and cry "racist."

If more African Americans would support their families, and not think of their children as punishments for sexual deviance, then they could break the cycle of poverty for their own people and change the dichotomy of their culture

If this were true, which I'm not saying it is, we would have no way to address this problem as to call attention to it would bring on chides of racism.

Or alternatively, in cases like this one, it's like pointing out that somebody doesn't like black people and holds large numbers of unfounded, baseless, derogatory prejudices against them.

Nope, when someone is a racists, he should be called out. Most racism is based in ignorance. It is the use of stereotypical images of a people to place them in an inferior position and maintain dominance. BES makes himself feel better by believing that he is better than the stereotype of an African-American as he sees them. Unfortunately for BES, Obama busted his stereotype, and BES is having a hard time adjusting to that, simply because he is a racist.

Unless of course he's right, in which case you would be doing a disservice to him as you are improperly discrediting him on false grounds, the black community as this kind of talk would be blocking any real progress for them, and indeed society as a whole as we are all connected.
Atleast one of these two things, that BES is a racist with unfounded baseless dergatory prejudices, or that there are internal problems in the black, community is true. We don't have enough information here to make a judgement about BES as we don't know him personally. We could have a critical discussion about black society in America and whether or not there are internal problems but I doubt that we would be able to do it without someone, likely you, trying to derail the conversation.

Yes, but that's assuming that his statement "Too many black men fail to work for a living, and support their families..." wasn't baseless. What do you think of me saying "Too many white men fail to work for a living, and support their families..."? Sounds like a load of bullshit coming from ignorance, huh?
What it comes down to every time (this was what DM was saying about a straw man argument) is that every time BES mentions socialism, he describes it as stealing money from the hardworking rich and giving it to the lazy poor. Firstly, that is not an accurate portrayal of socialism, nor is it what BO or any of the posters in this thread are advocating whatsoever. It's just an oversimplification of a misunderstanding. Secondly, the fact is that a lot of the rich aren't as hardworking as BES likes to believe (The Rockefeller family earned their money, right?) and a lot of the poor aren't as lazy either. It would be true if the amount of hard work you do equaled how much money you get, but that's not how it works. The more money you have, the easier it is to make money. A lot of the poor work their asses off their whole life just to get by, and they barely do at that because a capitalist system doesn't give a shit about them. People like BES think they're lazy and figure they're leeching off society. What ends up happened because of an ideology like that is the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. That's my take on it at least.
