Hello everyone,
As you may know, I am hosting a euroleague basketball tournament, and so far, it looks succesfull and entertaining. So now, I decided to host a Uleb Cup tournament, which is, in real life, a little less atractive tournament than the Euroleague, but it doesn't have to be so here, on CC.
In this tournament, the number of teams is bigger. There will be 32 teams, hence 32 players playing 1 on 1 games. Each player will select his team and home preferences (map, cards, fortification, fog or no fog). All the games will be sequential. Freemiums are welcome.
Rules:
There will be 3 rounds: Regular Season, Last 16 and Final Eight.
REGULAR SEASON:
Eight groups of four teams each will play in round-robin competition, with all teams playing a total of six games. The eight group winners and the eight second-place teams in each group will advance to the Last 16.
LAST 16:
Four groups of four teams each will play in round-robin competition, with all teams playing a total of six games. The four group winners and the four second-place teams will advance to the Final Eight. The Last 16 teams will be automatically placed in their respective groupsresulting from the final Regular Season standings. No Last 16 draw will be held.
NOTE: if two players have the same amount of points, the score difference will decide who the better placed one is. The score difference is the amount of rounds in all of your games. The less number of rounds, the better score difference you have.
FINAL EIGHT:
At the Final Eight, the quarterfinals will feature Last 16 group winners facing second-place teams from different Last 16 groups in a best of 5 matchup. The four quarterfinal winners will meet in a best of 5 semi-finals. The semi-final winners will play in a best of 7 Final game.The winner of the Final will be the EUROCUP champion.
NOTE: The Final Eight will be played on a random map with the following settings: sequential, flat rate, chained, no fog.
