Also, what about McCain? Wouldn't he have got somebody in his entourage to check this out and run with it if it looked credible? He tried everything else, why did his inner-opportunist desert him on this issue?
Sure, some random dude doesn't think Obama is eligible to be President. Obama doesn't feel like he's obliged to release personal documentation just because a random dude makes an allegation. So what? If some random loon jumped up and said 'civil servant X isn't a US national', would you oblige them to publicly expose their personal document? Or would you be content to know that the due scrutiny of the appointment process had probably already done all the checks that were necessary? Or is this just a chance to make a bit of a furore over the exciting new president who doesn't look like all the others?
Also, who cares if he isn't? He's the guy everyone voted for, right? Isn't that what democracy is all about?
You don't trust him? Why not? Because he refuses to defend himself against unproven and implausible aspersions? Really?
Hey, here's one! I think Obama is a bankrupt! He's clearly insolvent so can't be president of the US. I demand that he discloses his bank details to the US Public! It's a matter of public trust!
Send a written request to Freeport Memorial, or to the Courthouse, and I'll sign away so that you can at least see a legal copy. It's not a big deal.Dancing Mustard wrote:Juan. I don't believe that you're a US citizen or were born in the US. Show me your birth certificate.
Until you do, I'm not going to trust you. Ever.
This is actually what IMO gives credacy to this claim. McCain and Palin insulted Obama a buttload. They even called him a socialist. Since they bent truths and lied so much, why wouldn't they say something about this? They were getting their asses kicked before the election... why not just add "and whats with this legal citizen stuff? Isn't he proud to show his place of birth?" to the end of your "Obama isn't a true American" tyrades? It doesn't have to be true to be political gold.Nobunaga wrote:... Not a random dude, Phillip Berg is a former Attorny General. Keyes is a former Presidential candidate. Peter Ogengo is the Kenyan Ambassador to the US, plus Obama's grandparents, brother and sister also claim to have seen him born in Kenya. Everyone needs to stop straw-man-ing this. If these were a collection of nobodys then noboody would care.Dancing Mustard wrote:Sure, some random dude doesn't think Obama is eligible to be President.
Actually the Democratic Party has admitted that they don't check that out. So have a couple of states, Florida's Attorny General has recently said that Florida doesn't check the legality of a presidental candidate's name appearing on their ballots at all.Dancing Mustard wrote:Or would you be content to know that the due scrutiny of the appointment process had probably already done all the checks that were necessary?
Former presidential candidate and civil rights proponete Alan Keyes is black. And he's fighting the California courts to stop Obama from recieving California's eloctoral vote until his birth certificate is released.Dancing Mustard wrote:Or is this just a chance to make a bit of a furore over the exciting new president who doesn't look like all the others?
To me, he's unproven until he releases a legal copy of his BC. We can't be sure. Basically you're saying Obama is telling the truth, and that his family are the ones who are lying, which is fine I suppose, except.... wait for it.... how does Obama remember where he was born????Dancing Mustard wrote:You don't trust him? I feel I have to say this a lot, and this is as good a time as any... I'm not saying Obama wasn't born in the US, I'm just saying I don't trust a guy who won't release a copy of his birht certificate to prove himself. And for me, this prolly won't go away until he does.

He has released a legal copy of his birth certificate, which can be found on his web site. The actual original birth certificate is kept at his headquarters in Chicago. Fact check.com has inspected it and found it authentic. You can inspect it yourself if you drive your narrow ass down to Chi-town and look for yourself.Juan_Bottom wrote:To me, he's unproven until he releases a legal copy of his BC. We can't be sure.
You don't have standing, the right to ask him for his birth certificate ... and neither did those who are making the big "hoopla".Juan_Bottom wrote:To me, he's unproven until he releases a legal copy of his BC. Obama was taken to court, and he did not refute this at all. Instead he ignored it. And yet all he has to do is sign 1 paper to release a copy of his birth certificate. If I were running for president I would have been proud to show my place of birth.

You'd trust one source? His sister says that it's a lie. Now we are on equal grounds. I used one source and so did you.mpjh wrote:Fact check.com has inspected it and found it authentic.
No, he released a picture.mpjh wrote:He has released a legal copy of his birth certificate, which can be found on his web site.
No I can't, which is the point. Only Factcheck has been allowed.mpjh wrote:You can inspect it yourself if you drive your narrow ass down to Chi-town and look for yourself.
Then who does? The Democratic party admits that they never check, and so have many states. Who does have the right? Phillip Berg is asking the courts to check it.PLAYER57832 wrote:You don't have standing, the right to ask him for his birth certificate ... and neither did those who are making the big "hoopla".
The only people I have seen confirm his Hawaiian birth are factcheck and whatever Hawaiian agency oversees birth certificates. But now we find out that Hawaii does give birth certificates to babies born in foreign countries so long as one of their parents lives in Hawaii... as this wears on we learn more and more.PLAYER57832 wrote:The fact is that the state of Hawaii, various other OFFICIAL entities (as well as independent/private groups like Fact check) have certified that he was born in the U.S. Those who say otherwise either have political agendas or just like conspiracies.
It was dug up, by Phillip Berg. Everyone just remained silent on it. And when the government goes quite on something, I worry about it.PLAYER57832 wrote:BUT, think on this. If this does continue and spread, exactly what is it going to do to our country? Do you SERIOUSLY think that Obama would have gotten where he is with no one in the Republican party, none of his opponents digging this up? I think that the supreme court did far more harm than good.PLAYER57832 wrote:Probably not, but the time and effort to show that would have drawn the country into a quagmire which would have been far more harmful to our country than even having Bush in office.

The Obama campaign has told WND such allegations are "garbage," but Ron Polarik, who holds a Ph.D. in instructional media specializing in computer technology such as printers, scanners and digital imaging, disagrees. His analyses have been posted online in a YouTube video, which also is embedded here:
Polarik explained to WND his four months of research on the images, including nearly 1,000 test images using actual scans and photographs of real certificates, indicate there are several "giveaways" on the image itself. For example, the document has gray and white between the lettering, not green pixels as the rest of the background document, suggesting someone cut-and-pasted or typed new information that was embedded on top of the background.
Other than fact check... who has verified the authenticity of the document? I mean, seriously, a document posted on a website with a photoshop altered time stamp is hardly proof of a legitimate document.mpjh wrote:Juan, this is disappointing. If you want to prove that the moon is made of blue cheese, you can find someone with a PHD who will give you the proof. If you cannot believe that the birth certificate at the Obama HQ in Chicago is authentic, well that is unfortunate. Have you called them to see if they will let you see the document? Do you have an organization that you would trust that could verify the document for you? Or are you just interested in keeping the tin foil on, and the fake controversy raging? There are plenty of other raving nutters out there to keep it up with you.

Word. I would be upset with this. There are too many things I don't think our money should be paying for and this would increase the money going towards those items. I would rather the ability to choose where your tax money goes. I wonder where most of the taxes would end up that way or how it would change things.Snorri1234 wrote:Word. An associate lawyer in a Chicago-based firm whose partner served on a finance committee for then-Sen. Barack Obama has advocated for the elimination of the U.S. Constitution's requirement that a president be a "natural-born" citizen, calling the requirement "stupid" and asserting it discriminates, is outdated and undemocratic.
Barack Obama and Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga
The paper was written in 2006 by Sarah Herlihy, just two years after Obama had won a landslide election in Illinois to the U.S. Senate. Herlihy is listed as an associate at the Chicago firm of Kirkland & Ellis. A partner in the same firm, Bruce I. Ettelson, cites his membership on the finance committees for both Obama and Sen. Richard Durbin on the corporate website.
The article by Herlihy is available online under law review articles from Kent University.
Indeed. These events involving Barack Hussein Obama and his eligibility under the U.S. Constitution to serve as president is historical and has never happened in our life time. Not only is the prostitute media ignoring this issue of paramount importance, now the supreme court justices are being manipulated. Outrageous doesn't even begin to cover such chicanery.
There is an interesting experiment with this in the United Way funding. At one point in its history donors to the United Way complained about what organizations the money was going to. So the United Way set up a menu of organizations to which a donor could earmark for its donation. The change was that pretty much the same amount of money went to pretty much the same organizations, however the United Way experienced a significant increase in cost to accommodate the process.kentington wrote:I would be upset with this.
