Well... any of these playoff hopefulls would do well to have a Fran Tarkenton or Andy Capp, but Tarvaris Jackson will have to do as the Vikes have 3 very tough opponents remaining.
Yes, I did...of course I knew you would somehow insert the Steelers into this thread Anyhow, Tarkenton really made himself a household name off the field:
DETROIT MAINTAINS PERFECTION AGAINST INDIANAPOLIS!
The NFC South homefield advantage is now 11-0 as the Falcons pull even with the Bucs in OT, and The Jets score 10 Fourth Quarter points without a single first down to slip past Buffalo.
The Bills snatch defeat from the jaws of victory once more... as the Jets had no defensive pressure on the QB all game, then after the two minute warning and up by three Buffalo goes play action pass on 2nd and 5... and the NY blitz gets a sack... a fumble... and a WINNING TOUCHDOWN!
Oh come on now...it's not even the 2nd quarter yet and Minnesota is already up by 3 touchdowns! Way to not even attempt at fighting back, Arizona. Things better change by the 4th quarter! George is gettin' upset!!

Oh yeah... the Packers and Lions are shaking things up. One NFC North team will make the playoffs and it's looking like the Vikings want that postseason spot the most.
Are the G-Men crumbling in the East? Cowboys get 3 TDs, 8 sacks and 2 INTs... and NY can't find the end zone.

And the Cubs.
And the Bulls.
Dammit...
You know what you and Sack can do with those Vikings horns...I think you do...
With Chicago teams it seems that we either have shit or gold. One of the worst or one of the best. I've got to say though, I'm glad as hell I'm not a Cubs fan. Jeez, what's it been, 100 years?
For the love of everything sacred, can we please just wait until March to start with the Cub-bashing? You people have no idea what I go through every summer. I would almost be willing to join the New World Order if it meant a championship.

Now that we're on a roll it won't be long before we've secured that NFC championship and all you NFC north people can go back to eating cheese and drinking beer.
More good matchups this week... Oh Boy! Steelers at Titans, Falcons at Vikings, Ravens at Cowboys, Panthers at Giants, Cardinals at Patriots and um . . . oh yeah... Packers at Bears.

With the Packers in a slump even I can't say it will be a good match. I guarantee it won't be a repeat of last time, though.

Why wouldn't it be a good matchup this time? If the Vikings lost and the Bears won it would add a little more drama to the playoff picture. Isn't that what makes the end of the season a little more exciting?
