Winning CC doubles takes great teamwork, communication, and strategy. This can be very difficult for two players that do not know each other. Well, maybe we should work on fixing that?
Welcome to the first of many "Friend, I Hardly Know Ye" tournaments... a randomized tournament that changes your doubles partner in each round.
This is how it will work. There will be 24 participants. Random.org will randomly select our partners. There will be three rounds of play. The first round will be 2v2v2 and the last 2 rounds will be 2v2. After the first round winners are identified, we will randomize the partners again! Giving you a completely different partner to team up with in round 2. The same will take place in the final round.
This will be a fun way to meet other CC players and learn other styles of play as well as just making friends to play doubles games with in the future.
There won't be any prizes, but the winners will be automatically entered into the next Friend, I Hardly Know Ye tournament.
