Tried Fallout 3, just not my kind of game (way too big for my taste, and to long as well). The Total War games now, those have yet to disappoint me. Just the fact alone that you can see thousands of troops on the map, let alone commanding them, is just awesome. Though a newer series would be Mass Effect. I normally stay clear of RPGs, but this one is actually awesome, with at least one more in the series on the way. Saints Row 2, though a bit repetitive (except for the boss levels), is quite good as well.brooksieb wrote:Grand theft Auto: San Andreas - Set in 92'. When i first got it it blew my breath away to think how big the map is and after i had played it for a year i was still finding out secrets for the game and can surpass even games being released presently, I could even go as far as to say it is still competition for saints row 2, the only drawback to the game is that there is no proper online features.
I thought i'd give fallout 3 a mention here because i'm currently loving the size of the map and quests you can do on it, i've been playing it for days ad i've only discovered a fraction of the map, although i think with fallout 3 online would spoil it but there would a way to make it fun.

FFVII was incredible. It's definitely another candidate.DarthBlood wrote:ff x-2

i was still a kid back in the 90s, so i never played too much ps1. however, it seems ff7 seems to be one of the best from back then...
