So I don't think this has been done before and since I love Scrabble, I'm going to try.
5 games at a time. All 1v1 games.
Games will be randomly assigned to members as letters are in Scrabble. Win that game, get that number of points.
Players with the lowest number of points at the end of each round will be eliminated.
Round 1 - 40 members – each player plays 10 games with 10 different opponents Round 2 – 20 members – each player plays 10 games with 10 different opponents Round 3 - 10 members – each player plays 10 games, each player will play every remaining player and one twice Round 4 - 4 members – each player plays 20 games or might end sooner if the lead is insurmountable Round 5 – 2 members – play 30 games or might end sooner if the lead is insurmountable
Scores are cumulative until the last round which will begin 0-0.
If you win 4 out of 5 in a session, you will receive a double word score (double the points for that session). If you win 5 out of 5 in a session you will receive a triple word score. You will receive a double letter score if you win in 10 rounds or less. Triple letter score if you win in 6 rounds or less.
26 different maps which will repeat as often as their letter - 26 maps of varying point values. Here is the English distribution of the letters (thanks to Wikipedia):
2 blank tiles 1 point: E ×12, A ×9, I ×9, O ×8, N ×6, R ×6, T ×6, L ×4, S ×4, U ×4 2 points: D ×4, G ×3 3 points: B ×2, C ×2, M ×2, P ×2 4 points: F ×2, H ×2, V ×2, W ×2, Y ×2 5 points: K ×1 8 points: J ×1, X ×1 10 points: Q ×1, Z ×1

1pt E=Classic Shapes A=USA I=Europe O=British Isles N=Africa R=Asia T=South America L=Itlay S=Canada U=World 2.1 2pts D=Siege! G=Circus Maximus 3pts B=King of the Mountains C=Age of Merchants M=Feudal War P=NYC 4pts F=City Mogul H=Poker Club V=Egypt: Nubia W=New World Y=Age of Realms 2 5pts K=Bamboo Jack 8pts J=Battle for Iraq! X=Conquer Man 10pts Q=Waterloo Z=Supermax: Prison Riot! Blank Tiles= Doodle Earth (for the special twist - 10 pts if you win, 5 pts if you lose and it still counts, even if you lose, as a win in the double/triple word score. No double/triple letter score will apply.)
Obviously this means that if you are good at complicated maps, you have an advantage. Just like in Scrabble you have an advantage if you know long words with weird letters. But you could still win by winning lots of the easy ones since the difficult ones do not occur that often.
Settings for all maps will be seq, escalating, chained and no fog.
Premium is needed as 5 games will be played at a time. You will receive a warning after 24 hours and at 48 hours. After 72 hours of not responding or deadbeating without a really good excuse, you will be kicked out.

I thought about the board but that ended up being too complicated. I'll totally join if you come up with one!
